Website privacy
This page covers the mutantsoup.com website, including the Hamster Soup Forever pages
at /hamstersoup/ (and the old hamstersoup.app address, which redirects
there). The mobile apps have their own policies, such as the
Hamster Soup Forever Privacy Policy.
What we measure
- Page views: which page was viewed, the referring site, and basic browser, device and operating-system information.
- Store clicks: when you click an App Store or Google Play link or badge, we record which store and where on the page, so we can see whether the site helps people find the apps.
To count unique visitors without cookies, PostHog uses your IP address and browser details to create an anonymous identifier on its servers. PostHog removes the IP address before the event is processed, so we do not receive or store IP addresses or location data.
What we do not do
- We do not use cookies or store anything in your browser for analytics.
- We do not create visitor profiles, follow you across visits, or track you across other sites.
- We do not use advertising trackers, session recordings, or heat maps.
- We do not sell your information.
- If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not send analytics events at all.
Who processes it
Analytics are provided by PostHog, hosted in the United States. Analytics run only on mutantsoup.com.
